These 12 holiday-inspired nail polishes might have been in their last year collection, but it’s definitely do-able any time of the year. As long as the occasion fits, your personality sizzles and your schedule is blocked out to party!

Don’t be a Snow-flake

This light grey nail polish has silver holographic glitter to add just the right amount of bling to your fingernails. The base of the nail polish applies sheer at the first application stage. But there is a lot of glitter present in the lacquer. During application; manipulate the nail polish as often as possible, as to ensure that the glitter is spread evenly. This also means that the nail polish will dry textured because of the amount of glitter it possesses.

You’ll need about three coats for the best coverage. However, you can also add a white base coat or even a grey one so that you don’t add too much glitter on your nails.

Apply atleast two top coats and be aware that you’re probably gonna have a hard time removing the nail polish from your nails.

Disco Drop Ball

Disco Ball Drop can be used more as a top coat. On top of that it has different sizes of glitter present. You’ll find small, medium round and hex glitter to add as much personality as possible. Layer it over a jelly like nail polish for the best looking nails. Make sure that you manipulate it as much as possible to get an even coverage. Because the glitter is so chunky, you’re definitely gonna have a bit of work for you when removing it from your nails.

Slay Bells Ring

Slay Bells Ring has a gunmetal smoky look to it. You can clearly see the metallic color with a silver shimmer to it. Applying the nail polish on the first coat is a bit patchy, therefore you need apply another coat for better coverage. This color dries smooth and it has just the right amount of shininess to it. We love that China Glaze added this to their Glam Finale collection.

Queen of Sequins

As it name suggests, you’ll have close to a kaleidoscope of colors. You’ll find a perfect amount of red, purple-ish shimmer (not glitter). On the first application, the color has a brown look to it, and it goes on very sheer. It’s definitely a jelly base that needs a little more attention to lines and careful application procedures. It however, covers perfectly in two coats and has a deep purple look to it once the nail polish has dried completely. What’s extra special about this nail polish is that the tiny shimmery bits won’t be difficult to remove from your nails.

As good as it Glitz

China Glaze added a fifth color to their Glam Finale collection. This little number has a bit of a pink-ish metallic shimmer to it. When the nail polish dries, it has a shiny chrome-like effect that’s definitely a good-looking color. The nail polish covers well and easy to control when applying. The not-overly-thick consistency allows you to cover your nails in one coat, if you apply carefully and take care that any lines are straightened out.

Sparkle on

This red jelly base nail polish has added red metallic glitter for additional dramatic effect. Like the Don’t be a Snow-flake, this nail polish needs a little extra manipulation to evenly spread the glitter. Yet, it’s formulated a little thicker, which means more coverage is acquired during application. It covers your fingernails in two coats, and because of the huge amount of glitter present; the polish will dry textured. A good quality top coat will smooth out the textured look. This will also result in a better feel to it. (If smooth is your thing).

Santa’s side chick

This nail polish is a definite red with a redish-pinky shimmer to it. Santa’s side chick dries matte and dries faster than previous colors in previous collections. It however, doesn’t dry as fast as the shiny nail polishes, so be a little more patient with drying time when it comes to this little nugget. It covers your nail completely in two coats.

You’re able to wear this in two ways; you can leave it at a matte finish or add a shiny top coat for a little more sparkle.

Big hair & Bubbly

This nail polish is a faded gold micro glitter that requires atleast three coats for the best coverage. Use it as a top coat on any color of your choice to get the best wear out of this color. A little extra manipulation is needed to evenly spread the micro glitter across your nails.

Toast it up!

This addition to China Glaze’s Glam Finale collection is a shimmery-frosty nude color. It covers fairly opaque on the first coat but will require atleast two coats for the best coverage. This nail polish dries a bit shiny and needs you to work out some of the lines as you apply, as the lines don’t go away completely while drying.

The Perfect Holly-day

China Glaze made this dark green nail polish with a bit of a shimmer. Also, a matte nail polish that gives you a little more time to work with it because of drying time, but the formula is great and covers in one coat. Like the other matte coat; decide if you’re rocking matte or a shiny top coat for that extra little flare.

New Year, New Boo

This nail polish is a dark shimmery blue that dries shiny. It looks superb as a matte finish, which means that if you want this look; add a matte top coat to get the perfect look for your outfit, and occasion. Because of its great coverage capabilities, you’ll find that it’s opaque in just one coat. Which means less time faffing with nail polish, and more time partying. Its formula is perfect and can be seen to be almost glowing. China Glaze did well to add this in their Glam Finale collection as it goes on well in just one coat.

Teal the fever

A teal metallic micro glitter and a clear base adds a little something different to your nails. If you don’t mind applying atleast three coats for the best coverage, you can do that. But we don’t recommend it because the glitter can become too textured. The best way to use this nail polish is as a top coat to add sparkle to a plain nail polish color of your choice.

Our favorite has to be the Santa’s side chick (but we’re definitely not a fan of the name). It goes on well and can be spruced up with a shiny top coat to change it up a bit.
